The Historical Vital Statistics database on this Website includes a fully integrated and secure e-business application enabling the online purchase of either electronic or paper copies of individual registrations, using your VISA, MasterCard or American Express account.
If you order an electronic copy or copies, they will be immediately available for you to downloadas the final step in the online purchase transaction. You will also be sent an e-mail message containing your receipt, plus links to an online access site where your purchase will be accessible for three (3) days. Once you have downloaded and saved these images, you will be able to print them.
Electronic copies are superb quality, high-resolution jpeg image files, four (4) times higher resolution than what is displayed online.They cost $11.17 each.For electronic copies delivered within Canada, applicable consumer taxes (HST/GST/QST) are added to the total, calculated according to the province/territory of destination. No consumer taxes are levied on electronic copies delivered outside Canada.
If you order a paper copy or copies, they will be sent to your mailing address via regular postal services.Normally your order will be processed and sent within two business days of order receipt. Please allow for mail delivery times based on the usual services offered by your postal provider.
Paper copies are high-resolution images, laser-printed on quality bond paper, certified, signed, embossed, and suitable for framing, scrap-booking or long-term preservation purposes. They cost $22.39 each; shipping and applicable consumer taxes are extra. For paper copies delivered within Canada, applicable taxes (HST/GST/QST) are added to the total. Taxes on the paper copy itself are calculated according to province/territory of destination; taxes on shipping are calculated according to province/territory of origin (Nova Scotia, 15% HST). For paper copies delivered outside Canada, applicable consumer taxes are levied on shipping only, calculated according to province/territory of origin (Nova Scotia, 15% HST).
